À Hanoucca, les familles témoignent de leur amour toujours grandissant pour les Mitsvot (le pluriel de Mitsva, commandement en hébreu). Avant d’allumer chaque jour, deux bénédictions sont récitées : pour remercier Dieu d’avoir donné au peuple juif la Mitsva d’allumer les bougies et pour Le remercier pour les miracles.
Pourquoi beignet à Hanouka?
Réalisé à partir d’huile, le beignet vient à son tour rappeler le miracle de la fiole… Il est l’aliment central de la fête d’Hanouka. En hébreu, ces beignets sont appelés Soufganiot, on les trempe dans du sucre et on les partage en famille durant la fête.
