Structure des macrophages Un macrophage est une cellule d’origine sanguine, qui provient de la transformation du monocyte. Il est localisé dans les tissus pouvant être soumis à des infections ou à une accumulation de débris à éliminer (foie, poumons, ganglions lymphatiques, rate…).

When isolated from blood and cultured in media with serum, adherent monocytes will differentiate into macrophages . For a pure macrophage culture, we recommend that you add factors such as M-CSF. Adding other factors including IL-4, IL-10, or TGF-β can help improve viability.
